A few weeks ago, one of my homies was talking with Fes Taylor about doing a video off his Flight 10304 album. This official debut is co-signed by Wu-Tang legend Inspectah Deck and features the Rebel INS himself, Shyheim, Mr. Prezident, Lot-A-Nerv, T-Bird and many more. We went with 'The Streets' because I felt it would represent where Fes is from the best; Staten Island and the hustle and grind that exists in some of the toughest areas on Staten Island. I also loved the Gangs of New York sample in the beginning. Inspectah Deck comes in on the second verse and is kicking back in the VIP area. I created a dramatic sequence after Fes's verse to build some momentum in the video. We shot the video in Notes Lounge on Staten Island which is in the Stapleton area. I believe there be a party celebrating the video release at Notes Lounge on 11/20/09. I will post the flyer and details as soon I get it. Enjoy!

Here is the second video off Esso's Off The Wall mixtape. Esso and I capitalized off the idea to combine NY and LA in this video since Esso was traveling to LA. You cant beat NY and LA when it comes to views from the top. We even had the opportunity to get Woody from Woody's Produce; the producer for Esso's Off The Wall, to cameo in the video. I used some stock footage of LA and NY and the rest is history! So come on up and enjoy the video and the "View From The Top" with us.

Joe Puma's Directors Reel 2009

I spent a little bit of last week and the weekend cutting my first reel. Shouts to the TheFlyGirl at http://www.flystylelife.com/. I had a decent first year working on music videos from the projects with Scenario to my own directed videos. I chose the Drake instrumental to "Fear". I think its a well fitting track to my frame of mind and a word of caution to the world....Fear me! ha
